We hope you're well. This weekend marks both the longest day of the year and Father’s Day. So, if there’s anything golf-related that you want or if you need to buy a last-minute gift before Sunday, we are here to help. In the meantime, enjoy this week’s newsletter as we ask you a simple question about your game, we take a look at one of our favourite iron ranges, and we serve up yet another brilliant video of the week.

We start this week's result section with Charlie and Greg's battle on Tuesday night. The ever-popular Tuesday evening competition saw over 70 competitors take to the course in an individual Stableford format competition.
With Greg taking the Pro Shop bragging rights last week, Charlie was keen on revenge, even taking a lesson himself during the week. It was Charlie who did come out on top, taking the win by three shots. I think Greg was more interested in the fox and taking pictures other than the golf but let Charlie have his little moment. It's Bruce who is taking to the course this week, tune in next week to see how the little fella gets on. Its time for the Pro Shop to produce at least a top ten finish.

Did you manage to catch a glimpse of the PGA Tour’s return last weekend?
It was quite a stellar field with lots of the world’s best taking the opportunity to dust off the cobwebs ahead of what’s set to be a fantastic few months in the golfing calendar. One player that caught our eye was Bryson DeChambeau. Now, he’s known as being very scientific and analytic in his approach to the game. For example, he’s been seen spraying water over his balls on the range to mimic the dewy conditions he finds himself in during the early morning rounds. Not a bad idea!
Well, the American looked like a completely different person last week and has spent much of the past few months hitting the gym in a bid to add extra distance to his game. Something he vowed he would do last year and has truly delivered! That being said, if you feel like you want to hit the ball further, it could take something as simple as a little tweak to your swing – an area we can certainly help with. |
