Hello Golfers,

Dear members and friends

Obviously these times are tough on all of us and what would normally be a social time, needs to remain a safe time. We ask that all our members look out for each other. From tomorrow we are going to introduce a maximum of 4 customers in the shop at anyone time and request that we remain socially distant throughout. If you feel more comfortable not entering the shop then please feel free to grab our attention via the window and we will happily come to you. 

So, with a week to go until the big day, is your Christmas shopping done and dusted yet? If not, there's no need to take a last-minute trip to the high street this weekend. Instead, pop by the pro shop and take a look at our collection of fantastic gift ideas.

The best bit is that you'll avoid the Christmas hustle and bustle elsewhere, whilst seeing our friendly faces.

We are aiming for the studio to be open the week commencing 11th January. Please keep your eyes peeled for the special offers on lessons and simulator access to have a dry 2, 3 or 4 ball for 9 holes.

Christmas ideas and special offers

Christmas Day is just around the corner and I hope you are all ready for it...I think I am.

From a presents point of view, don’t forget the Pro Shop is open all the way up to Christmas so if there are any last minute gifts you require then please don’t hesitate to pop in.

Well with the change in temperature this week I’m sure it has got us all thinking this week ‘Have we got the right garments/items for the cold?’ If it is a warm hat, gloves, snood or hand warmers you are after then pop into the shop and see what we have to offer. Westwood and Fitzpatrick taste glory

The season-ending DP World Tour Championship lived up to expectations over the weekend, delivering an incredible tournament with the European Tour’s best golfers battling it out until the final hole. In the end, it was Matthew Fitzpatrick who won the event and took home a cool $3 million for a second time, paring his final hole after a nervy bogey at the 17th to win by one.

But it wasn’t just a one-off event. The Dubai-based finale also saw the Race to Dubai – the tour’s order of merit - come to a close. For much of the week, it looked as though Patrick Reed would secure the title and be the first American to do so. However, after Fitzpatrick’s blistering start on Sunday, he was in pole position. Yet, come to the 72nd hole, it was a certain Mr Lee Westwood who went on to celebrate his third order of merit title at the age of 47.

A fantastic achievement. Maybe his Ryder Cup career isn’t over just yet?
