As we enter the middle of March and The Masters is now just a few weeks away, the golfing juices are bubbling in anticipation of the golfing year ahead. Tee times

This week you will hear from the club as to how and when bookings can take place. Fourball golf will take place from the 29th March, we will be taking bookings from the 22nd March. Coaching, fittings and simulator hire will be released and open online as soon as we know the regulations for safe practice.

Coaching

Coaching, fittings and simulator hire is now available via our online booking platform, indoor fittings and coaching will commence from the 12th April.

Upcoming fitting days

With the new season fast approaching, we are delighted to have our first two fitting events of the year booked in:

Cobra Fitting Day - Wednesday, 14th April: 10:00am - 3:00pm

Callaway Fitting Day - Saturday, 17th April: 10:00am - 3:00pm

Junior coaching

News from England Golf means we can resume golf from the 29th March with Junior Group Coaching permitted. With this in mind we will be resuming our Saturday morning sessions on April 3rd. (Registration prior to arrival is required)

- Beginners under the age of 10 9:00 – 10:00

- Over the age of 10 10:00 – 11:00

- 18 handicap and under 11:00 – 12:00

The cost for these sessions will be £40 for 5 sessions. (Credits that you may already have will carry over)

Will are also excited to announce that in the Easter Half-Term we will be offering a ‘Junior Camp’. This will run on Tuesday 6th April and Tuesday 13th April from 12 Noon - 16:30.

The poster attached gives you all the necessary information, please get in touch if you would like to reserve a place, as places will be limited.

Trolley and buggy service

We have spoken to quite a few of you who are preparing for our return and have asked if we can provide buggy and trolley servicing. The answer is yes! No matter how small the job we assess and obtain quotes before any work is carried out on your equipment.

Trolley servicing and repairs start from £29 and Buggy servicing starts from £129, areas inclusive of the buggy service are as follows:

- Complete oil change
- New oil filter
- New fuel filter
- Strip and clean carburettor and fuel pump
- Grease front suspension
- New spark plug

Any other parts like diaphragms, coil, ht lead, suspension/ steering parts or switches would be extra but would be advised of cost beforehand.

SVGC Buggy Valet

If you would also like your buggy cleaned we will be offering this during the run up to our return, the following process will be fulfilled:

- Hand wash and dry
- Wheels cleaned
- Windows cleaned inside and out
- Tyres dressed
- Interior vacuumed and dusted
- Paintwork hand polished
- Bumpers/trim redressed.

Service charge £15.

The 100 Club

The funds raised from The 100 Club will go towards projects at the club. If you wish to be part of this great event, please contact the professional team.

Deja vu

After a crazy few days of the good, the bad & the ugly at TPC Sawgrass, we appeared to have a repeat of the previous week’s Sunday shoot-out between Bryson DeChambeau and Lee Westwood at the Players Championship…

We didn’t know it at the time but the winner was ultimately decided on the fourth hole. Bryson topped his tee-shot into the water before Westwood sliced his into the drink. Having made a double-bogey six and a bogey respectively, suddenly Bryson and Lee seemed very relatable! In the end, it was Justin Thomas who came through the chasing pack to claim a one-shot victory after what he described as “one of the best rounds of my life tee-to-green.”
