Hello everyone,

We hope you’ve had a great week and managed to get a few holes in the sun. With brighter days ahead and the months ticking by, spring is fast approaching — and with it, the start of what we hope will be a wonderful and busy golfing season here at Sene Valley Golf Club.

A lot has been happening at the club over the past couple of months, and we’re excited to share some previews of the work the Pro Shop team have been doing to renovate and enhance the shop.

We can’t wait for you to see the finished result in the coming weeks!

Alongside the Pro Shop improvements, James is delighted to announce the first dates for hisupcoming group coaching clinics at Sene Valley. These sessions will be open to all membership sections — Ladies, Men’s, Veterans, and Juniors — and are a fantastic way to gain valuable knowledge to improve all aspects of your game while also socialising with fellow members, friends, and even family. The sessions are open to all abilities, so please don’t hesitate to contact James to secure your place.

Pro Shop Update

As many of you know, it has been a very busy and exciting start to 2026 here at Sene Valley. With the clubhouse renovations well underway, everything is shaping up nicely for the start of the season. We’re looking forward to welcoming you into the newly decorated bar, restaurant, and snug area —we’ll continue to keep you updated as the project nears completion.

The Pro Shop is a central hub for both members and guests, and it’s important to us that it looksprofessional, smart, and welcoming. After careful consideration, the team made the decision to redecorate the shop walls, refresh the displays, and enhance the overall customer experience.

With new spring and summer stock arriving weekly, we’re excited to showcase the latest ranges for you to browse and enjoy. Thank you to everyone who supported the shop through the winter months. We truly appreciate it and look forward to your continued support as we head into the spring season.

James’ Group Coaching Clinics

It has been fantastic meeting so many members over the past month and already helping many of you improve your games. Coaching is a true passion of mine, and I firmly believe no one is too young or too old to learn and improve. Knowledge is one of the most powerful tools in golf. It’s not just about the technical side of the swing — it’s about understanding lies and how they affect strike and ball flight, learning how different putters are designed to perform, understanding wedge bounce, and recognising the key differences between woods and irons, to name just a few areas.

Sharing that knowledge with as many members as possible brings me great enjoyment, and alongside my private coaching, I’m pleased to confirm the first dates for our weekly group coaching clinics.

These sessions will provide a fun, social environment where members can learn, practise, and

improve together. Over the coming weeks, we’ll cover:

• Short Game

• Long Game

• Putting

• Bunkers

• Course Management

Weekly Schedule

Ladies Group Coaching- Every Monday at 10:00am. Starting 16th March 2026

Men’s & Veterans Group Coaching- Every Tuesday at 10:00am. Starting 17th March 2026

Junior Group Coaching- Every Saturday at 14:00. Starting 21st March 2026
